As a professional linguist, I am seeking opportunities to translate documents from French to English. To maintain a high level of professionalism, I only translate into my native language of English. Having spent 10+ years as a corporate and chancery (real estate related law) paralegal, I use the knowledge I gained to translate legal documents in the corporate and financial arenas, as well as various legal documents such as judgment orders and birth certificates. Additionally, I make a point of utilizing my language skills and past experience to pay my good fortune forward. As such, I have developed an interest and growing knowledge of Francophone Africa. Having lived in the USA and the UK, I am also conversant with both the American and British variants of English.
