I am a developer who specializes in writing applications for mobile devices and web. Currently, I am a Managing Software Engineer for SandCat Software, LLC, a company I helped form. Before I began my business venture at SandCat Software, I was a Developer Consultant specializing in mobile technologies at Rollins, one of the largest pest control companies in the United States. I have a great sense of pride in my work as a developer, especially when taking on new challenging tasks. Researching solutions to resolve business needs and then observing a successful deployment gives me a great sense of accomplishment. I enjoy building something from scratch and taking it into completion knowing that I had a hand in the process. Refactoring existing systems to work more efficiently and in a maintainable fashion is also very rewarding. Simply put, coding helps keep my brain sharp and on my toes. It allows me to be part of a community of technical fanatics that I can continue to learn from. Currently, I am a graduate student at SPSU in the Software Engineering program. I have taken many courses in both Software Engineering and Computer Science tracks to give me a well rounded view of the entire process.
