For my PhD in Creative Writing, I wrote a 110,000 word novel and an accompanying critical commentary. My latest publication is Surfing: The Essential Guide, a how-to book published by Need2Know books. I have had a textbook for high school students published and have contributed to many other publications. My niche is surfing and the outdoor lifestyle; I also write about the environment, yoga and general health issues, pets and literature. I was trained in proofreading and sub-editing while studying for my MA in English Literature and have also had training at the LCC.
