Formerly a classroom teacher, I have experience serving on several curriculum committees. I have also worked in the educational publishing field for 15 years writing and editing curriculum materials including lesson plans, thematic units, and teacher support materials. I have served as a curriculum designer for an educational software company, creating classroom materials to meet the needs of struggling readers and writers. Most recently, I have spent the past year and a half completing contract projects for major educational publishers such as Scott Foresman (Pearson Education), McDougal Littell, Prentice Hall, Houghton Mifflin, The College Board, Holt, Rinehart and Winston, and ETA/Cuisenaire.
