The experience I offer,comes directly from the life I've lived. I have learned to communicate with those folks, that claim that they don't need to know what prison is like. Today's young people have an attitude that only includes what they know. That kind of limited direction, is a clear path to going deeper into the Criminal Justice System. I am here to share what I was lacking growing up. I never received a hug, nor did anyone ever tell me that they loved me. You can imagine how off balance my life must have been. In order to get away from an abusive family life, I was forced to call the Police on myself. I spent more than (20) years in Prison, before I finally had the experience of a life time. I am no longer on Parole or Probation, and I have been in Society without these constraints, for more that (10) years. I am now (65) years of age, and I have a great deal to share with the World. I grew up on the Streets of America, from the age of (15). What the Prison System has taught me, as well as the System itself, can't be bought in any books. I know that even though my path started off as the greatest struggle of all time, with the help I received, before I ever believed in God, came at a time when I was facing 50 years to life without the possibility of Parole. My life has now become all that a Miracle could be. I am certain that I am able to share more than just the what not to do, I can deliver some experiences that are really only found at the movies. My life has been very Real, and also very sad. However, it has not been a total waste.
