HR Generalist and Recruiter

I have 9 years of experience as an HR, Recruiting, and Administrative professional with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. I am currently available for projects that are 5-6 hours per week or less/as needed. My HR expertise includes: • Recruiting (Full Cycle): Reviewing and/or creating job descriptions, placing job ads, sourcing candidates, screening, conducting first round interviews, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, preparing and presenting offer letters, negotiations, and assisting the new hire to start the position. I have placed candidates for various roles including: Administrative support roles, HR, Accounting/Finance, IT, Project Managers, Engineers, and Executive level positions • On-boarding: Point of contact for new hire questions and guidance, coordinate and administer new hire paperwork, initiate/monitor background investigations, conduct new hire orientation, provide any training needed for use of the HRIS system, create and provide training schedule, payroll set-up, benefits assistance and enrollment, I-9 verification, and provide on-going support for new hires • Operations: Operational support, staff development and training, employee relations, employee transactions (from creating offer letters to conducting terminations/exit interviews), reporting, severance, relocation, payroll, and creating/editing process documents including employee handbook updates and training/operational manuals Prior to becoming an HR specialist, I held various positions over the span of 10 years that includes experience in customer service, administrative support, scheduling, bookkeeping, and office management. I am extremely organized, efficient and quick to comprehend new skills. Attention to detail and exceeding expectations when it comes to my quality of work along with meeting deadlines is extremely important to me. I am always open to new challenges and am proficient with computers and software systems including Microsoft (Word, Excel Powerpoint), HRIS/ATS programs (Oracle, SharePoint, Salesforce, ADP, Kenexa Brass Ring, BambooHR), LinkedIn Recruiter and Google G-suite.
