I create web applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies. I have build software-as-a-service (SaaS) sites with secure user authentication, user profiles, credit card processing, media upload, and messaging. I have designed attractive, smart interfaces with the Sass stylesheet language, Javascript with jQuery and of course HTML5 and CSS. I'm well versed in managing server-side databases in Ruby with Ruby on Rails' ActiveRecord together with the amazingly affordable and powerful Heroku web app hosting service. Ruby on Rails streamlines the immense task of creating and deploying a full web application and makes it possible for a one man team team such as myself to produce in much less time than it would have taken in the past. I can adapt these application to be scalable (capable of handling high traffic) using fast CDN's and site caching.
