How do I conduct my teaching?
I do a thorough assessment of the candidate to identify the current level and what problems we need to focus on to improve the score effectively.
My course outline:
Reading:
1. Implement speed reading practices to make sure you can solve all 3 passages in 1 hour to achieve time
management.
2. Understanding the combination of paraphrasing traps, inference, and gist.
3. Find common patterns in solving the questions.
4. How to read the passage like reading an interesting story.
5. Focus on critical thinking on hard questions like MCQ, List of headings, and Information locating.
6. Understanding how writers use idiomatic phrases and figurative terms.
7. Provide vocabulary learning drills to improve lexical resources.
8. Teaching how a student can practice effectively when provided with tasks and homework.
Writing:
1. How to expand a simple idea into a full body paragraph in Task 2
2. Improve the lexical resource to know the associated keywords for any given topic.
3. Implementing flexible writing methods based on the candidate's personal knowledge on any given topic.
4. Teaching how to make a visual mind map before starting to write the essay in task 2
5. Learning how to paraphrase the statement.
6. Time management to make sure you write both tasks 1 and 2 within one hour.
7. How to identify a visible pattern from a given complex chart or diagram in task 1
8. How to mention 2-4 key trends, comparisons, and differences in task 1.
9. Implement natural linking words for both Task 1 & 2 in contrast to using mechanical linking words.
10. Making the candidate aware of the Don'ts and Dos based on the IELTS band description.
11. Provide accurate writing analysis of the candidate with feedback.
Speaking:
1. How to express your personal experience through flexible speaking
2. How to achieve the storytelling method naturally.
3. Use natural words to speak fluently on any given topic.
4. Learning key ideas based on a given topic.
5. How to tackle answers for uncommon topics.
6. How to speak at length without compromising fluency.
7. How to make a logical argument based on the appropriate lexical resources.
8. Refining grammar, tense, prepositions, and articles through practical ways.
9. How to reduce saying ‘ums’ and focus on taking natural pauses.
10. How to remain calm in a stressful environment while speaking.
Listening:
