I am writing in application for Freelance tutoring  with Guru.com. I am experienced in tutoring students of all abilities and I believe I am an ideal candidate for this position.

I am Dr. Anirban Chakrabarti and completed my Ph.D. recently from the department of Specialty Glass Division (SGD) of CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CSIR-CGCRI), registered under Jadavpur University, Kolkata India. In the last 5 years I have worked towards my Ph.D. with my research primarily focused in the area of glass and ferroelectric glass-ceramics for multifunctional applications. I am a postgraduate in Chemistry specialized in Inorganic Chemistry and gradually developed interest in material science when I started working towards my Ph.D. in the field of glass science and technology. During my Ph.D. tenure I have total of 9 publications in high impact International Journals and also authored one Book Chapter. I started private tuition much before I started my research career.

I have worked with students of all ages, from elementary school to college level.  I try to break material down into easy-to-understand concepts.  I am also comfortable explaining crystal field theory to a high school student or working with a beginner.

I know how important it is to make the student feel relaxed, which in turn helps them become ready to learn.

I find tutoring a rewarding experience and i I am confident that my experience will help the students a lot in understanding the subject better and fetching good marks in the examination.
