I have a diversified background in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, academic, curriculum, grant, creative writing, art analysis, course creation and evaluation. I have many years of teaching experience and writing original curriculum and understand what is effective and what isn't from trial and error in a wide array of subject areas. My undergraduate work was in English and Art History with a heavy concentration on Science and my Graduate work was in Multicultural and Urban Education and Literacy. I am currently pursuing a 3rd Masters Degree in Instructional Design and Technology. Most recently, I created a 700+ page online course for New Parents that may also be formatted into a book for mass market use. Much of the research was heavily science and theory based and also includes a variety of practical advice to help new parents feel prepared for some of the exciting adventure ahead. For several years, I had the privilege of creating and teaching hands-on curriculum to students of all levels ranging Pre-K to Post-Graduate Professional Development Workshops. I've taught across the gamut of academic-based programs ranging from full all core subjects to Learning through an Expanded Arts, Inc. (Leap)'s Active Learning Leads to Literacy (ALLL) program which focuses on developing the literacy skills of students in grades Pre-K to 8 by engaging them through the multiple-intelligence(s). While a good amount of my work has been largely concentrated in curriculum and course writing, the scope of subjects I can write about at a variety of different comprehension levels is vast.
