I started the first Internet magazine worldwide, called Online Access, which turned into a publishing company that I grew for 10 years and then sold to a large publishing company.
After I sold my company, I created a project execution team called InterimCEO, Inc., to assist fast-growing companies. We excel at strategically hard tasks like raising money, launching new products and services, business development, merger, business plans, buying out competitors.
My experience was and is that the biggest challenge for company founders - the most scarce resource in growing a division, or a new product, or a business fast - is effective leadership. I wished while I was growing my company that there were outside expert resources I could call on to delegate strategic, measurable tasks.
