Günther Schmedding is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in IT and high-tech sales and marketing. He is experienced in growing early stage companies (founded RealNetworks GmbH as a GM) and managing their rapid or "burst" growth. He also led dedicated teams in large organizations such as Oracle Germany or one of its Central European Branches. Since more than 10 years he successfully runs his own consulting company to serve his customers. After finishing his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the Wirtschaftsakademie in Hamburg in 1985, he joined Nixdorf Computer AG. He continued his sales career at Oracle Germany. 1996, he focused on building a pipeline of major strategic deals for Oracle Inc's new Broadband TV Suite and managed the Telco / New Media Branch across the Central European Region. 1998 he took responsibility for building and expanding the RealNetworks GmbH operations for the Central- and Eastern Europe as well as Middle East. 2001, Günther Schmedding founded 3connected GmbH, an international consulting boutique. He ran various board level interims assignments, assisted high-tech companies with turn-around and growth management, led M&A activities, structured business development missions, and was responsible for various customer's sales and marketing (strategy and implementation) success.
