IT Administrator, Server Administrator

Roles & Responsibilities: -

•  Taking care of complete IT Project, IT Team, Data Centers, and Escalations of the IT Team.
•  Transitioning of the Data Centers and new projects from different clients across the globe.
•  Create the team's project documents and knowledge base, and train the team.
•  Handling the escalations and escalated queries for the different technologies.
  • Windows Servers and IT Administration (AD, DNS, DHCP) and Certificate management
  • Production support for Enterprise NetApp Storage Hardware & Software.
  • Production support for Enterprise EMC Storage Hardware & Software.
  • Production support for Enterprise DELL and CISCO server Hardware.
  • Production support for Enterprise VMware vSphere, ESXi.
  • Production support for Microsoft Windows Servers.
  • Azure, Active Directory, and domain controller support.
  • Involved in SAN and NAS environments.
  • Upgrading ONTAP and applying patches to fix the issues with various bugs.
  • Deploying ESXi, vCenter server, and managing the same.
  • Troubleshooting various issues of NetApp Storage, EMC storage, and VMware.
  • Providing support for a new configuration of storage systems, Windows Servers, etc..
  • Creating and managing Vservers, Aggregates, Volumes, Qtrees, and Quotas.
  • Multiprotocol experience - NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and FCP.
  • Restoring Volumes and Files from Snapshots.
  • Creating and maintaining quality documents for knowledge sharing.
  • Create new knowledge base articles to capture new learnings for reuse.
  • Proactive follow-up with vendors to ensure optimum and timely issue resolution.
  • Configuring and Implementing LUNs, CIFS/SMB Shares.
  • Experience and ability to work with network administrators for network issues.
  • Production support for Enterprise NetApp Storage Hardware & Software.
  • Involved in SAN and NAS environments.
  • Windows Servers and IT Administration (AD, DNS, DHCP) and Certificate management
  • Good experience with RAID technology.
  • Creating and Managing Aggregates, Volumes, Qtrees, and Quotas.
  • Multiprotocol experience - NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and FCP.
  • Hands-on with NetApp day-to-day administration, incident management, change management, and troubleshooting on NetApp FAS Series and disk shelves.
  • Configuring and Implementing CIFS Shares & NFS Exports.
  • Configuring and Implementing LUNs.
  • Creating and managing igroups to map LUNs for Windows and UNIX.
