I am an IT Infrastructure professional with over 10 years of industry experience. I have worked for a broad-spectrum of organisations from global pharmaceutical companies to mid-market Managed Services providers throughout Australia/New Zealand. My career, like many others', began in helpdesk support where I advanced to a 3rd level support position. From this role I was promoted to a service desk manager for a global company. Seeking more exposure to cutting-edge system implementation, I took an opportunity at a mid-market Managed Services provider as an IT services consultant and later moved to another MSP as a Senior Technical Account Manager. Within these roles I was exposed to a variety of working/management styles and have managed and worked as a resource on technical projects ranging from simple office relocations to larger datacenter hypervisor and networking implementations. I am a certified PRINCE2 and AgilePM Practitioner and have over 10 years of technical experience working with Microsoft Server, Exchange, Windows, SQL, IIS, Active Directory etc. I have experience in implementing VMware ESXi vCenter implementation to best practice as well as configuration of SAN storage, iSCSI networking, switching, routing etc. I am currently freelancing and seeking opportunities for remote work in my field of expertise.
