Jessie J posted a moving message to her fans last night, after sharing the happy news she is expecting her first baby later this year.
Hours after revealing her pregnancy online the singer admitted she couldn't help but think about "all the women and men still struggling with loss and infertility", due to the fact she was once told she would "never get pregnant" and have a baby.
The mum-to-be, 34, told her Instagram followers how it feels "so strange to on this side" after previously experiencing pregnancy loss - explaining how she kept her news "quiet for so long" because she was struggling to process the fact she was pregnant.
Jessie announced she had suffered a miscarriage in November 2021 ahead of performing a gig in L.A, just one month on from splitting from boyfriend Max Pham after seven months of dating.
The Price Tag singer opened up about her experience with pregnancy loss in August last year - telling her fans how she had planned as a teenager to become a mother by the age of 30 but that hadn't happened.
After sharing the news she is pregnant once again, Jessie reposted a slew of messages from pals and fans congratulating her on her Instagram Stories last night as the world reacted to the singer's update.
At 2am this morning, the pregnant star took to social media once again to share some poignant thoughts and offer support to those who are struggling on their journey to become a parent.
Jessie told her 12.3 million fans: "I can’t help but think about all the women and men still struggling with loss and infertility.
It feels so strange to be on this side after being told I would never get pregnant, to pregnancy loss to then being pregnant and how quickly it is all happening.
"My mind hasn’t fully processed that it’s actually happening some days which is why I kept it quiet for so long.
"The anxiety in the beginning was overwhelming and I felt like I had my eyes closed just hoping it all would continue to go well. Which in moments I still very much have whilst allowing myself to feel the joy and celebration of this experience."
The pregnant star then went on to write how she wants to "hug anyone struggling" and added: "I don’t take a second of this for granted and continue to pray for a safe landing of this magical baby everyday.
"I know I have been blessed with the biggest gift I will ever receive and I pray more than anything you get yours. However that looks. Love you."
The Do It Like a Dude singer told her Instagram followers how she knew it was ", but was sharing her story and being honest about her feelings in order to make others across the world going through a similar experience feel less alone in their struggle.
Jessie broke the news of her latest pregnancy with her fans on Friday night - explaining how she was "happy and terrified" to share the news as she posted a montage of her pregnancy so far.
Jessie's video featured a positive pregnancy test along with Jessie posing with her blossoming bump.
