Jimmy Carter, enters hospice care

$20/hr Starting at $25

Jimmy Carter, the 39th U.S. president, enters hospice care.

Jimmy Carter, America's longest-serving president, is 95. Years ago, I thought he was on the brink of dying after brain cancer, but he's still active in his Atlanta study center. His presidency witnessed the signing of Camp David and Iran's hostage crisis.

Carter, the 39th President of the United States, celebrated many things that have broken records in recent years. The fortieth anniversary of his inauguration was president in 2017, and he joined George Bush Sr as the only two American presidents to reach the age of 94, and in March and at the age of 94 years and 172 days, he became the longest-serving president in American history. In celebration of his 95th birthday, which took place yesterday, October 1, he called on the Carter Center, founded by the President, to congratulate the first people from around the world. The Washington Post says Carter reached another band point even though he was thought to be on the brink of death years ago, after doctors said cancer was spreading to his brain. Carter was born on October 1, 1924, joined the Navy and had a full life of service, and before he entered the White House, he was elected as Georgia's state senator and then governor.

His presidency, which saw the signing of the Camp David Peace Agreement between Egypt and Israel and the Iranian hostage crisis and the establishment of the Ministries of Energy and Education, ended in the 1980 elections when he was defeated by Ronald Regan. After leaving the White House in 1981, when Carter was 56, he returned with his wife, Rosalyn, to their hometowns in southern Georgia, after which Carter held the title of "former president" longer than anyone else. Katter continues to carry out his activities for the most part, according to the Director of Communications at the Carter Centre, and participates in the Centre's programmers on global peace, health and other humanitarian activities. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his work during and after the presidency, and continues to teach at the Church and give lectures at Emory University. In 2015, Carter announced doctors diagnosed with a brain tumor, and said he thought he had only several weeks to go, but he was surprisingly relieved. Carter received radiation therapy for the first time at the age of 90, and four months later he was declared cured of cancer.
