I am a linguist with, research, writing, proofreading and editing as my skills and interests. I have worked in both government and private sectors where I have drafted, proofread and edited policy as well as project documents including the Early Childhood Commission's National Strategic Plan 2013 - 2018 and the Vision 2030 - National Development Plan. I have also prepared Terms of Reference, Memorandum of Understanding, project reports; monthly, quarterly and annual reports to meet the relevant deadlines. While employed to the Jamaica Early Childhood Commission, I worked on identifying and documenting Parents' Places in Jamaica as one of my major independent projects. I worked on my own initiative in collecting and analyzing data on these facilities, created a database for them, then prepared a report on the overall project. In addition to writing technically and grammatically structured documents, I employ great creativity in poetry and feature writing.
