I am a freelancer searching for a possibly long term steady job that falls withing the skill set of creative writing, article and blog writing, proofreading/editing, and translating. The languages that I am proficient in are, Dutch and English, with a tad of German. I can only translate from German to another of my two languages, while I can do both ways with English and Dutch. Dutch is my mother tongue, and I recently passed my Cambridge English exam, with an A on a C2 level. The biggest problem that I'm running into right now is my lack of experience. Everybody wants a professional this or an expert that, and I am not on that list yet. I will point out that everyone started small and that I have to be patient, but it does get annoying when you've applied to 20 jobs, and nobody will hire you. So, I'm hoping that someone who's just as inexperienced as I am, will come along and decide to hire me. Or maybe even someone who sees that there's room to grow. I hope I made a good first impression, and thank you for your time.
