Logos are fun and touch upon my ability as an illustrator. I always tell my clients to think crazy and trust I can match it. All I ask of my clients is to know how you'll be using this logo. If you know you'll be using this in large print forms and multiple formats, then ask for a vector based art. If you know you'll be using this just for web and simple print, then I can design in other programs that can push the visual dynamics. Cartoon characters in logos are fine, but know that it becomes an illustration on top of a logo. That takes a few days to sort out.
