Senegalese player Sadio Mani was named best player in the English Premier League last August, beating a number of stars in the competition. Mani scored three goals last month in the English Premier League to become the top scorer of the tournament equally with Manchester United's Romilo Lucaco. Alongside Mani, Egyptian Mohamed Salah was also nominated for the award, along with Lukako, Armini Henrik Mikhtarian and Phil Jones of Manchester United. Donkey's Jonas Lucy, goalkeeper of Huddersfield Town, and Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata were among the names. Mohammed Salah was named Best Player of the Year in August. His goal in Arsenal was chosen as the best with the Reds and he was named the best player in both Watford and the Ganges in the first and third rounds of Premiership. The Reds have 7 points out of 9 after a 3-3 draw with Watford, a win over Crystal Palace with a goal unanswered, and finally a 4-0 win over Arsenal.
