Marine & Transport department technical advisory, Insurance Broker, claims handler and refunding of claims (H&M, LOH, P&I, Charterers’ liabilities, FD&D, Piracy, Cargo damages, Demurrage), assisting underwriting’s team in policy renewal, technical negotiation with underwriters, providing technical and legal notes for clients, negotiation of premiums, preparing statistics/meetings with underwriters and clients.
Technical assistance and advice, negotiation of ship’s building contracts, import of spares and features for the shipyard’s stock, negotiation of prices, preparing customs’ clearance documents for imported goods, negotiation of transport tariffs, preparing banking documents for letters of credit for international sales.
I began my professional sea career on 2001 on board a wide type of vessels (Container vessels, Roll- On/Roll-Off, Passenger vessels, LPG Tanker vessels, Tug Vessels, Service vessels for offshore jobs) in which I have developed my knowledge of international transport and all marine industry. With this experience I can prove my abilities and commitments in the maritime industry with successful results (an example: in my current job in marine insurance, I am delivering professional and successful service to my department and clients with deep knowledge of the marine and transport business).
