I have an aggregate of around 9 years working experience as CHIEF ENGINEER in merchant ships.• Sailed and worked on various types of ships viz. bulk carriers, oil tankers, container vessels and offshore vessels fitted with main and auxiliary engines of types viz MAN B&W SMC/LMC/GFC/ME,SULZER RTA,MITSUBHISHI,CUMMINS,YANMAR,DAIHATSU,DAEWOO Expert knowledge and skills in providing technical guidance in the operation, maintenance, and repair of Main Engines, Auxiliary Engines, Boilers, Generator Systems, Purifiers, Electrical Installations, Framo Pumping Systems and Cargo pumps, Inert Gas Plants, LSA, FFA, various Other Shipboard Machineries and Plants, Pneumatic / Electro/Hydraulic Control Systems etc fitted on board merchant ships.• Fully conversant in management level and ensure compliance of SOLAS,MARPOL 73/78,STCW 95,ISPS CODE,ISM,ISO 9001:2000,ISO 14001,USCG requirements, Risk assessments, Safe working practices.• Planned and prepared vessels for various class /flag state/PSC/Oil major/US coast guard inspections. Prepared repair specs and carried out dry docking and wet docking of vessels. Implemented and reviewed PMS, ISM and ISPS onboard vessels.
