I’m the Marketing Manager for Barista Coffee Lanka Pvt Ltd, one of the largest international coffee chains in Sri Lanka. In this role I single handedly handle Marketing, PR, Branding and Communication related activities for all eight outlets within the country. In addition to this, I also manage all marketing activities for another one of the newest cafes / restaurants in town – Caramel Pumpkin. A few of my strong areas of specialization learnt and specialized over the course of a few years include : new product launches, branding strategies, brand activation, market and data analysis, business development, people management, creative content development and campaign marketing & segmentation. I've worked in the beauty, health and wellness industry as well as the real estate industry before finally finding my passion in the cafe/restaurant industry. I'm an individual who tends to think outside the box instead of sticking to the same old boring strategies that have been followed for decades. I tend not to back away from taking risks and jump at an opportunity of being the first to set a trend.
