I have an educational background in PR and Marketing as well as multiple years of experience working in both social media and the music industry. I am very passionate about both industries. I took a few years off of my focus in marketing so pursue event coordinating and planning, but I am ready to get back on the path to grow my career. In addition to the skills that I have gained in PR and Marketing through my various job and other opportunities, my current position has given me the skills to fulfill the other requirements to be successful in the industry. For example, my daily task of updating and managing the events calendar for our organization requires me to be extremely detailed and organized. Also, for our most recent fundraising event, I had to coordinate and manage volunteers and that requires multitasking, which is something that all candidates for any Public Relations or Marketing position should have as a skill. I have always been eager and ready to learn, which I believe is a great quality to have in a public relations coordinator, since the nature of the industry is to constantly be changing and evolving.
