My mechanical design service offers a comprehensive range of services to meet the varied needs of my clients in the engineering field. Here's a brief overview of the different tasks I handle:

  • Needs Analysis: Before starting any project, I engage in a thorough analysis of the client's requirements. This includes understanding their goals, technical and economic constraints, as well as specific product requirements. A rigorous analysis of the specifications ensures a tailored and functional design.

  • FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis): FMEA is a risk assessment method used to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential failure modes of a product or manufacturing process. By conducting an FMEA, I can anticipate potential problems in the early stages of design, thereby avoiding significant costs and delays in later project development.

  • R&D (Research and Development) Phase: The R&D phase is the core of my design process. It involves researching innovative and effective solutions to meet the client's specific needs. This stage includes in-depth exploration of the latest technologies and methodologies, as well as testing and prototyping to validate concepts.

  • Digital Mockup: Using Onshape software for computer-aided design (CAD), I create detailed digital mockups of my designs. These 3D models provide precise visualization of the final product, facilitating communication with the client and manufacturing partners. Digital mockups also serve as a basis for subsequent development and manufacturing steps.

  • Plan Editing (ISO Dimensioning): Once the design is validated, I generate detailed plans in compliance with ISO dimensioning standards. These plans include all the necessary information for manufacturing and assembly, such as dimensions, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes. Accurate dimensioning ensures the quality and compatibility of produced parts.

Finally, my working philosophy is based on an approach I call "Pre-industrialization". This means that I take into account the constraints and requirements of industrial production from the design phase onwards. By anticipating manufacturing processes and optimizing design for efficient and cost-effective production, I contribute to reducing costs and time-to-market for my clients.
