2D Production Drafting & Detailing: Generating manufacturing-ready engineering drawings with precise dimensions, bill of materials (BOM), surface finish specs, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) compliance (ASME Y14.5).
Reverse Engineering: Measuring physical prototype components or existing machinery using 3D laser scanners, micrometers, and CMM data to recreate accurate digital CAD models for replacement or modification.
Design for Manufacturability (DFM / DFA): Optimizing part geometry for cost-effective manufacturing via CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, casting, or 3D printing (additive manufacturing).
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) & Simulation: Conducting basic stress, strain, thermal, and load-bearing simulations to validate structural integrity and safety margins before physical prototyping.
