I am a 55-years old mechanical engineer. I spent most of the nearly 30 years of my career as a mechanical designer first, and then as mechanical design group leader in companies and institutions working on hi-tech. I'm an experienced CAD user (CATIA V5 and SolidWorks) as well as FEM user (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation). I could do feasability studies and cost estimates, as well as full mechanical projects, to the detailed level, write technical specifications and reports, run expediting visits at sub-suppliers premises (in Italy).
