I have several years' experience in Medical Transcription as Quality Control Editor and then as Manager, Quality Control in a large Medical Transcription company. I have multispeciality exposure and am well versed in Nephrology/Oncology transcription. In addition, I have obtained the CCS-P certification from the American Health Information Management Assosciation and the CMRS certification from the American Medical Billing Association, and am listed on websites of both. My certifications in Medical Coding/Billing attest to my recognition in the complex medical field and the Healthcare system--qualities I believe even a good Medical Transcriptionist lacks.
