Medical Billing & Credentialing

$8/hr Starting at $1K

I am a medical biller for 8 years working for different facilities and providers. I am currently looking for a full-time position. I used to be a Part B ( Ancillary ) specialist that caters to all therapy and rehabilitation services for providers in the US. I submit claims electronically through clearing houses like Office Ally, Emdeon, Dr. Chrono, and others, to insurance for services rendered in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, or hospices.

In 8 years tenure of being a medical biller expert, I follow up with denied claims and make sure I submit appeals to insurance and see to it that claims submitted are being paid. I also follow up on underpayments for claims that have line items denied and submit corrected claims if needed. I am detail-oriented when it comes to procedure codes, revenue codes, HCPCS codes, and other necessary data in submitting claims and billing insurance. I am well versed in data entry and balancing the ledger for accounts receivables. I also have experience in payment posting and pre-authorization/referral processes.

I am a team player, detail-oriented and goal-driven individual. I have worked with clients in analyzing data and creating an output to realize our expected goal through numbers. I can meet the client's demands in a timely manner and quality results with the level of expertise I possess. I have self-discipline and time management skills that are necessary to have served as a Medical Biller for years now. I have also joined up-skill training and seminars in order to hone my skill set and abilities because I know that I have a lot more to learn and I am very eager to learn if you give me the chance to work with you.
