My first language is C. I have developed complex applications in C such as a robot with face recognition and tracking features which was purchased by the faculty to be exhibited in promotional events. I also developed a distributed file system in C featuring multithreading, recurrence control, scheduling, etc. I have strong knowledge of software programming practices such as modularity, object oriented programming, re­usability, and I am eager to apply them in the code I write. I am also well versed in other 3G languages such python, java, C++, and Lisp. I have experience using control version software, and familiarity with deployment of PHP, Java (JBoss and Tomcat) on linux. I worked on ?PyCharm IDE? to develop a customized application to crawl the web and capture databases of wholesalers and compare prices. The application parses, cleans and stores relevant data to a huge database which is automatically updated on the background. My knowledge of MySQL and replicating databases is strong. Currently, I am developing custom applications for WordPress. I have worked on WordPress API integration for Fedex, UPS, USPS, wholesalers, and dropshippers. Also, I have customized a shopping car to hold 20k items on WordPress platform. My strong background in software engineering allows me to find solutions for my customers that are efficient and perform very well online. For instance, I created a cron job scheduler to work directly on kernel mode this because WordPress cron scheduler is triggered by events but this was not an optimal solution for an intensive cpu task.
