I’m a lab technician with molecular and microbiology skills and research skills. I got hands on experience in plant disease diagnosis and control, hands on experience working with lab equipment, good leadership skills, critical thinking, scheduling, good public relations and good communication skills among other skills which make me a suitable candidate for the task accorded to me. I got experience in collecting samples for DNA extraction and performing downstream DNA analysis, molecular diagnostics using PCR techniques, ELISA techniques, microscopy and Aflatoxin testing. I got hands on experience in handling lab equipment, troubleshooting, interpreting, developing and optimizing lab protocols. I have optimized two DAS ELISA protocols resulting into the accreditation of the two methods.
