Mubadala World Tennis Association return

Flash Entertainment has revealed the launch of the 14th Mubadala World Tennis Championship, from December 16-18, at the International Tennis Center in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

The tournament will see the participation of six of the world's top tennis players and two of the world's most talented players to compete for one time in a series of knockout matches over three days in Abu Dhabi, in addition to the opening of a new distinctive stadium in the coming months.

Commenting on the matter, John Lecrich, CEO of Flash Entertainment, said: “The Mubadala World Tennis Championship has become very popular over the past years and has evolved into one of the most prominent tennis tournaments on the global sporting calendar. The tournament returns with the participation of the best tennis players in the world to provide an atmosphere of enthusiasm and fun for sports fans in Abu Dhabi over three days. Every year, we strive to raise the level of the tournament to give tennis fans, families and international visitors an unparalleled experience, as the 14th edition of the tournament will witness once again the participation of a group of the world's most prominent tennis players in the men's and women's categories. Last year's tournament saw Russian Andrey Rublev defeat Andy Murray in two straight sets to win his first title at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship. While Tunisian professional tennis player Ons Jaber managed to overtake Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic, to become the first Arab player to participate in the tournament and win her title. Jaber continued her successes after that, reaching the English Wimbledon final this year.
