I have been composing, dancing, playing piano and singing for over 16 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Composition from Columbia College Chicago, where my compositions were selected for all possible 'Best of Composition' recitals. I studied composition under grammy-nominated Ilya Levinson, Kenn Kumpf, Philip Seward and Fengshi Yang, private pop and classical voice under Jeff Morrow and Lon Ellenberger, and private classical piano under Philip Seward. I am proficient in composing for all instruments (using Finale notation software) and have also scored, mixed and mastered multiple short films and videos using Logic Pro. Additionally, I am able to transcribe, arrange and orchestrate pre-existing music. My biggest work, which premiered in February of 2016, was composing an original full-length opera for choir, solo voice, piano and string quartet. Since then I have composed many more instrumental pieces and video scores. I have been a dancer since the age of four, studying most recently under Kate Jablonski. I currently dance professionally with The Kate Jablonski Statement, a contemporary dance company in Lyons, IL that performs all over Chicago. I am able to choreograph solo and group dances and teach dance for all ages in the genres of ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and jazz.
