Since 2008, I have worked in various positions as a translator, interpreter and language services provider. During this time, I have translated and interpreted an array of different types of documents and assignments across my range of specialisms. As a result of working in different industries, I have been exposed to specialist terminology and language used by each. I have steadily been building up my base of experience and have been learning as part of an ongoing process of professional development. This development includes further courses relating to translation and interpreting, keeping up-to-date with industry news and development projects relating to the administrative side of being a freelancer. In 2011, I qualified as an English language instructor after completing a CELTA programme. Since then I have taught classes in Barcelona and Tenerife to students of all different levels and with varying learning objectives.
