I am a professional freelance illustrator/designer with over 28 years experience.16 of those years spent working closely with children's book packagers/publishers, on the concept,design and production of the books.I have designed and illustrated many books, ranging from novelty board to educational books, which have been published and translated internationally in over 15+ languages. I enjoy developing new images from the cute characters, to the realistic, and have a special affinity for animal illustration. I work in a variety of mediums including coloured pencil, watercolour, mixed media, digital, and really anything that comes to hand! I am happy to work to a specific brief with Art direction or independently and come up with new ideas for you. Once given a brief I can work to a deadline, producing roughs for approval before the final illustrations.
