I have worked over 6 years as a Linux Admin, Applications Engineer, and Perl Developer. 5 of those years were in the financial industry (3 of which I was a Sr Unix Administrator and the other 2 as a Systems Applications Specialist). I have also worked as a Lead Network Operations Engineer in the Media Advertising industry, where I managed over 5,000 servers utilizing HP OpenView and Perl heavily. I currently work in the Wireless Industry as a Sr Applications Engineer. I manage over 100 Linux Systems running various in-house applications, open source applications (OpenLDAP, BIND DNS, etc), and proprietary applications (Oracle). I have worked over 6 years as a Unix/Linux System Administrator, Applications Engineer, and Perl Developer. I currently hold 3 certifications (GIAC Unix Security Cert, HP-UX System Admin Cert, and Network+). I also have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a Masters Degree in Management of Information Systems.
