I graduated from Imperial College with a MSc in Molecular medicine. At the moment I am a scientist at the MRC Prion Unit. My day job is a 9am-4.30pm monday to friday role and it leaves me with a lot of free time in the evenings and weekends. So with this I want to utilize what I know to help others. My skill sets are varied but mostly focus within areas of IT, research and data. I am a hard working person and will deliver every job with 100% input and will not charge more if things need to be changed or if I need to spend longer on the job. I will always make sure my clients are satisfied with what I have produced and if not will not stop till they are. The reason why I started to freelance is of course like everyone else, finances. My role within science is not a very high paid job, as expected. Scientists are doing research for the passion not for the money. I love my main job, but London is too expensive plus I have financial commitments. So its either change my job which I love or work more. I chose the latter and chose to freelance, as it gives me the flexibility and I can work from home till late in my comfort zone.
