I currently edit a newsletter (The Redeemer Reporter), write environmentally focused articles on www.examiner.com/portland and work with a beginning writer as a writing coach/manuscript editor. I also write poetry, short stories and am working on two novels.I have a strong technical background (B.S. in chemistry, post graduate work in geology and geochemistry) and have worked for the Oil and Gas industry as well as the software industry. I am a long time member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a member of Willamette Writers, a writers association in Oregon. My main strength is the range of experience I can bring to a project. I have experience writing fiction(short stories, novels), poetry, opinion pieces, blogs, short articles and humor. I also have a strong technical educational background as well as technical working experience in the oil and gas industry. I can tackle a wide variety of projects at reasonable rates.
