I Will do interviews (about local churches/businesses via email and write the newspaper articles. I Will e-mail completed articles to the publication. I worked for a daily newspaper - The Elizabethton Star Newspaper - for almost 23 years before I retired in January 2011. I'm now 71 years old, and I've been freelancing for the paper since late 2018. In the Christian fiction category, I've been writing a weekly Christian syndicated column entitled "Rays of Son" (short story format) for about 10 years. The columns are free to newspapers, magazines, church bulletins, etc., and are currently running in the Star. I can provide samples of these short stories by e-mail as examples of the types of short stories I write. Turnaround time might be a bit slow if I have unfinished work to do for the Star Newspaper.
