I have strong experience in Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g. Databases : Oracle9i, Oracle 10g, Oracle11g Tools & Techniques: Oracle Enterprise Manager, Installer, RMAN, dbverify, tkprof, statspack, AWR, ADDM, SQL Loader, Data Pump,Data Guard, toad, sql developer etc. My Roles and Responsibility : Installation of oracle (9i/10g/11g) Database Server and Oracle Clients on Linux and Windows7 and XP Platforms. Creating databases as per company requirement and configuring database listeners for connectivity with database to clients. Perform start up and shut down the database. Configuration of RMAN (Recovery Manager) and taking RMAN backups (hot, cold or incremental as required) and perform recovery if required. Create, modify and delete database objects like tablespace, user, table, index, roles, profiles, db links, materialized view, synonyms etc. Appling security patches & other patches for upgrading versions of database (9i/10g/11g) on different platforms. Taking the logical backup of database using original export (exp/imp) & data pump utility (expdp/impdp) as per the requirement. Monitoring the performance of database using performance tools such as Statspack, AWR, ADDM and advisors for Monitor session statistics, memory statistics and load statistics to obtain optimal performance. Experience in preparing the Technical Documents on relevant topics. Database Cloning, Patching, Upgrading, Migration. Loading data into database by using sql loader utility and sql scripts. Grant and Revoke privileges for access data of another user for data security. Interaction with developer/QA on various database issues. Working under the environment of 24X7 Production Database Support. Performing space management at Table space, segment, extends and blocks level. Add or resize data files in table space as needed.
