I have 19 years experience on IT projects in Analysis, Design, Coding and Project Management phases. I have strong experience in Payment Systems (invoice payment, prepaid reload), Collection Systems, Dunning Systems and partially Billing Systems. I had role in developing, analysis, design and management phases of these projects in Telecommunication operators in Turkey (Turk Telekom, Vodafone, AVEA). These systems collect payments in all national banks in Turkey and thousands of tellers. I (with my team) have designed, developed and delivered 3 GSM Operator Payment System. These systems are extremely huge databases. The last one we worked on is Turk Telekom Payment System, 20TB in size and an Oracle RAC. I have designed Turktelekom Telecomminication Operator's payment system's database with RAC requirements (ie designed table and index partitions wrt prevent RAC interconnect bottleneck). As I was manager of this system and with my database background, I have tuned whole system applications (java app, Cristal reports, Oracle reports and jobs etc). For example I made my developers rewrite static queries to dynamic queries. My tuning works were not only in development phase, but also I constantly checked production environment that is in 20TB size RAC Oracle database, 100million/month transaction.
