• 10 Years of experience as a Certified Oracle DBA in the Telecommunication, Retail and Learning industry domains with excellent client-facing experience and exposure to a leading project in Database service delivery. • Sound Knowledge on Core Oracle Architecture and Oracle Internals. • Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software (version 7i/8i/9i/10g/11g/12C) and related products. • Perform all facets of database strategy, architecture, engineering, design, implementation, capacity planning, tuning, and monitoring. • Work closely with another Infrastructure engineering, product development, operations to ensure delivery of database services within the SLA’s and performance target set. • Sound Knowledge on Oracle RAC, Golden Gate & exposure to Exadata environments. • Strong exposure to SQL tuning and Database Performance tuning. • Maintaining databases on cluster setup, Adding and deleting a node in the cluster setup. • Experience in deploying, managing and developing with MongoDB clusters including Replication, Sharding, High Availability, Geographic localization for low latency operations and availability. • Having good exposure working through AWS cloud for Relational Database services. • Providing design assistance, analyze and manage database solutions with a technical emphasis in performance monitoring, problem identification and resolution for upcoming applications. • Developed/customized UNIX shell scripts to automate routine DBA tasks of taking backups, Exports/Imports, space/ usage monitoring, and others. • Implementing Best practices performing technical deep dives. • Key contributor to prevent SLA missed and penalty ticket to DBA group. • Work experience on MongoDB cloud deployments and configurations as per the customer requirements. • Resolve complex problems by investigating and devising solutions for database operations. May include installations, configuration, and maintenance of database management systems to optimize or tune to maximize system performance and efficiencies. • Work experience in mongo dumps, exports/backup/recoveries strategies. • Strong work experience on Mongo Cloud Manager. • Good working Knowledge in MYSQL. • Provide on-call support in adherence to specific business and customer Service Level Agreements. • Experience in Hadoop (Cluster setup /Backups/Recoveries /Process/Storage) • Create and review SOP/POC/Tech Plans for Project Implementation work. • Deeply working in SME activities like TDD, DPP, and Automation, etc.
