I was often hired by my colleagues to create concept sketches to submit to management. After leaving the circus, I had a number of my cartoons published in local papers, and I designed a number of front covers for a local "hip" weekly newspaper.I wrote and illustrated a comic book for the "Bert the Nerd Thrill Show," a comedy variety act, and a number of other comic book projects.
