I have an art minor. I have studied under James McClelland, famous wildlife artists, known for his watercolor birds. I have taught art both in a classroom and privage setting. Painting is a hobby, and I would like to expand it more. I currently work out of my home, and am self employed. I am interested in doing some part-time art work on a private basis. Normally, I charge by the project with a percentage up front. I do not do abstract art. I am a realist, and paint things as I see them. I am interested in painting for greeting card companies, wildlife magazines, portraits, etc. A contractual basis of work would be acceptable. I am a mother of two, both school aged children, and currently am working on painting a portrait of Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean for a student of mine. Portraits are fun, and I enjoy bringing out a persons character in my work. I also have a love of nature and of animals.
