I have a broad range of programming skills acquired over the last 17 years. My communication skills are strong and I enjoy the organic nature of the back and forth between the client and myself as the project evolves into the final work product.I have worked for companies of varying sizes, both alone and as a part of a larger team. Projects of particular interest include Carlsberg Beer’s intranet, building custom web applications, and providing CMS templates to the various departments. While in Denmark I also worked on DR(Denmark’s equivalent to the BBC) and DLR(a large company that provides a vast array of data to Danish farmers). At DLR I was required to architect a high availability system that would allow local chapters a high degree of customization as well as a custom single sign on solution.In the last few years, I have focused more on desktop applications using WPF, Microsoft’s XNA Framework, and Winforms. During this initial 10-hour period I was impressed by Mike's communication and speed. He had no trouble getting up to speed very quickly with my project needs despite some complicated underlying database stuff. He took the initiative to ask questions via Skype and email when he needed to, and was able to advise me on legal issues regarding font licensing for the application. I'm extremely pleased with the level of service I've received during this period.
