I began translating when I moved to the US about 11 years ago but it was mostly really basic and conversational stuff. I started getting paid for my translations when I worked for a government agency in the mid west. I mostly translated medical records from Spanish to English but I also assisted in the translation of business letters from English to Spanish. That was valuable experience for me. I have a degree in business administration so I can offer my talents beyond my healthcare translation skills.
