I have experience in the field of programming and in particular with applications in pangenomic data. My master's thesis focused on the development of population genetics analysis on pangenomic graphs.
Developing these approaches would be a significant effort but, it would yield a
system capable of handling the difficult problems this field will face in the near future, as to collect many whole genomes from individuals of diverse species. Importantly, these
tools will not only help us confront the new data challenges. They will also ensure that
we can easily easily consider all types of variation in population genetic analyses.
