PCB Design

I offer complete PCB design services from concept to finished product. It represents about 90% of the projects that I do. I have been doing it for over 30 years. I can also help with the ordering process.

I also can do modifications to existing designs.

I use Eagle for most of the designs that I do but I can also use KiCAD and Altium.


Typical PCB Design Deliverables

  1. Circuit Schematic done in Eagle.

  2. Layout of the PCB done in Eagle.

  3. An Eagle library with all of the devices in the design.

  4. Parts list, with manufacturers (TI, National Semi ...).

  5. All PCB CAM output files (Gerber files CNC Drill files ...).

  6. Assembly drawing (pdf, dxf and dwg formats if required).

  7. Pdf files of all drawings and documents.

  8. A DFM (design for manufacturing) report of the Gerber files.

  9. PCB fabrication quote from vendor required.

  10. Turnkey quote if required.

 

 

This list refers to Eagle as the design software used. I can also use Altium, OrCAD, or KiCAD if you prefer.

    Very good engineer. Tim developed a custom PCB for my project and did an excellent job. He is a highly competent engineer who works carefully and methodically. What stood out to me is his attention to detail and his ability to think along with the project instead of just executing a specification blindly.     Such a nice guy. Seems really invested in what Im trying to develop ad cares about the job. Produced very detailed write ups on what's going to and has been done, and happy to help wherever he can. First time user of Guru so obviously went in not really knowing what to expect. Had a picture in my head of what would be ideal and in TIm got exactly what I was hoping for. Cant recommend enough.
