Penetration Testing

$50/hr Starting at $500

Both for business purposes and general knowledge desire, I took up operational/information security, and penetration testing as a second act of my tech industry career. As a programming lead on a variety of projects that try to get off the ground on a skeleton crew, developing solid planning to test everything I build is an essential aspect of the job. Moreover, to be able to handle the full stack of technology (most OpSec/InfoSec aspects of my jobs involve web-based data/sites/services) - quality testing procedures need to be as optimized and automated as possible to avoid the inevitable burnout associated with wearing too many hats simultaneously. So I developed a comprehensive set of pen testing scripts, some Python scripts I wrote myself to batch organize certain batteries of test parameters, and arranged the setup within an easy to fire Cron job that can coordinate them and allow concurrent pressure testing similar to what a red team might do to achieve nefarious goals (everything I run I pre-test against a couple of targets with current and past vulnerabilities, such as with a Metasploitable VM or Docker container, or my custom version on my Raspberry Pi 4+ and a couple of Win10 machines). I prefer using Kali Linux for some things, and Parrot Security for others (each have certain builds that make for easy implementation for field testing engagements where that's needed). If you wish to commission me for a pen-testing engagement or other info/operational security endeavor, please make sure you clear it with your host if the target is a website or other web-based service. You may need to sign some waivers, every host is different. Or if the target is internal infrastructure, if you do not have policies for such testing just let me know and I can help you get set up so everything is above board before we begin.
