Pipe Stress Analysis ? Good exposure to Piping Stress Analysis (using CAESAR- II) of lines connected to, Pressure Vessels, Columns, pumps, Rack Piping, Heat Exchange, Air cooler, Lube oil cooler. ? Preparing Stress Critical Line List, Stress & Layout Philosophy, Stress Guidelines & working procedures. ? Modeling of line as per the stress isometric (Reference Document for modeling, stress isometric, 3D model or latest Naviswork file, critical line list, inline item data sheet, Piping specification) ? Checking and qualifying Piping Loads on Equipment Nozzles, in Compliance with WRC 107/297, and Allowable from Vendors. ? Preparation of Nozzle load verification sheets. Review of piping force and moments on, Pump, Vessel, Storage Tanks, and Heat Exchange as per relevant standard. ? Preparation of fallowing out file (stress isometric with restraint Summary, stress model snapshot, stress output file, Restraint summary, C 2 file, Nozzle load effect due to different temperature condition, displacement at free end) ? Support selection from Piping Support Standard & designing of special piping support with reference to stress analysis Report. ? Knowledge of common types of Processes Equipment & how each functions & the Criteria for determining allowable loads on the equipment nozzles. ? Design of spring support for piping. ? Qualifying stress analysis line by various iteration and standard selection of support location, guide location, gap between guide and pipe, rerouting of pipe if required.
